In its Q3 2023 business sector report, the Ministry of Commerce announced a 12% surge in registered businesses specializing in custom software design and programming.
The report detailed that, by the close of Q3 2023, registrations had climbed to 9,072, a notable increase from 8,070 in the same quarter of the previous year.
Leading the regions in commercial activity in this sector was Riyadh, boasting 5,500 registrations. Following were Makkah with 1,884, the Eastern Province with 998, Madinah at 225, and Qassim rounding out the top five with 151.
