Saudi-Egyptian Joint Committee is among so many bilateral committees. It is emanated from the Saudi-Egyptian general cooperation accord, which aims at promoting bilateral cooperation, in a number of significant fields.
It holds its meetings, periodically, as the next coming meetings, which set to be held in Riyadh, will be the 14th session on 12-16/06/ 1434 AH.
Saudi investments in Egypt, will atop the agenda, as the Saudi side is very keen on their position as well as enhancing trade exchange volume, which stood at SR 18 billion, in 2012, in addition to providing more facilities, in order to boost and double the bilateral volume of trade exchange.
The coincidence of these meetings is underscoring the importance of the commercial and economic link-up, between the two countries.
At the outset, the Saudi side will hold a coordinator meeting on Saturday 3/6/1434 AH, at MCI head office, which will comprise pertinent government bodies relating to the meetings and the Council of Saudi Chambers, in order to lay ground for the meetings.
