The General Authority of Small and Medium Enterprises Sign a Partnership Agreement with King Abdullah Financial District and the Authority of Economic Cities

To Provide Facilities and Comprehensive Services for Entrepreneurs
 
 
H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, would patronize on Sunday, 12.02.2017 AD, at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises and King Abdullah Financial District, as well as the Authority of Economic Cities, aiming at providing facilities and comprehensive services for the entrepreneurs at the Economic City, in order to create attractive and sustainable investment environment that would enable small and medium enterprises to be engaged in business.
 
The Governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Ghassan Ahmed Al Sulaiman, pointed out that the said authority is endeavoring to facilitate all transactions and government procedures related to entrepreneurs and the SME, stressing that this agreement will provide great services for entrepreneurs, such as saving time, effort and cost, as well as helping the entrepreneurs to focus on achieving their business goals, indicating that the SME authority is keen to motivate all parties to participate in the support of small and medium enterprises.
 
SME governor welcomed the partnership with King Abdullah Financial District, hailing the important achievements of the Financial District since its founding, also praising its ability to attract investors and major industrial companies from inside and outside the Kingdom.
 
For his part, the Acting Member and Chief Executive Officer of King Abdullah Financial District, Mr. Fahd Bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Rasheed, explained that this agreement aims to motivate and encourage young entrepreneurs to achieve their goals by providing all facilities and the necessary regulatory frameworks, in addition to their benefit of the modern housing solutions offered by the economic city.
 
Mr. Al Rasheed expressed his pride and appreciation for the collaboration with the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority, pointing out that both parties would seek, through this agreement, to provide all facilities and the needed regulatory frameworks for entrepreneurs to be able to achieve their goals and to fulfill their aspirations.
 
Under this agreement, King Abdullah Financial District would provide many advantages and facilities for the entrepreneurs. This would   contribute to the support and growth of their investments during the coming period. In addition, the entrepreneurs may invest in the Financial District itself, by taking advantage of the benefits provided by such agreement.
 
For his part, the Secretary General of the Economic Cities Authority, Mr. Muhannad bin Abdul Mohsen Helal, emphasized that through the program of the Economic Cities Authority, related to Entrepreneurship, the authority will do its best to facilitate and speed up the issuance of licenses needed  to engage into business, besides reducing the financial charges by relieving them of the related license fees, this is for the entrepreneurs accredited by the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises.
