MCI inspection teams had detected a group of Q-Net Company Marketers, who were involved of fraud online marketing, during their meeting in a hotel in Riyadh. This meeting was headed by an expatriate and attended by a number of young men and women who were invited by the company, on purpose of deceiving and influencing them of quick profit.

MCI inspection teams, supported by the joint security forces, monitored the meeting and captured the expat while he was introducing the company and its modus operandi, and how to invite people to join the online marketing. This is a clear violation to the state’s Rules & Regulations, since it is a way of financial fraud, and it is a delusion of making profit.

Meanwhile, MCI had taken all the necessary procedures and arrested the head of this group, who was handed over to the security authorities to complete the legal procedures against him.

MCI has reiterated its warning of pyramid or online marketing, since it is considered a deceiving and illegal way of making profit, asserting that such activities mislead the consumers by influencing them of quick profit, and this kind of business activity has been banned in the Kingdom

MCI would like to affirm that it will not hesitate to impose the legal penalties against those involved in such suspicious marketing activity, calling on all consumers to lodge their complaints and observations through MCI Consumer Call Center 1900 or through the application of a Commercial Violation Report or through the Ministry's website.
