This is Part of the Ministry's Plan & Efforts for the Current Hajj Season 1440 H.
MCI inspection teams have carried out 5,284 inspection tours on shops and outlets in Makkah and Madinah during the period from 1 to 5 Dhu al-Hijjah 1440 AH. This is to verify the availability of food supplies, goods and products, as part of the Ministry's plan for the current Hajj season 1440 H.
These inspection tours covered Makkah, Medina, Jeddah, Taif and the relevant Holy Places. The inspected shops and shopping centers included: 4,715 shops, 167 gold, jewelry and gemstone shops, 140 motor tire shops, 121 fuel and gas stations, 131 bakeries, 10 foodstuff vehicles roaming the Holy Places.
MCI inspection tours revealed and showed the availability and abundance of foodstuffs, juices, refreshments and mineral water. This is in accordance with the seasonal plan adopted by the Ministry for the current Hajj season, which seeks to fulfill all the requirements and needs of the pilgrims while performing their Hajj and staying in the Holy Places this year 1440 H.
