The inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce’s Qassim Branch performed 6,892 visits in November 2022 to warehouses, markets, and outlets across cities, governorates and villages to monitor prices of commodities and ensure that stores and outlets abide by the laws enacted by the Ministry.
Following inspections, the Ministry fined 92 infringing business outlets as per the penalties prescribed for violating the Ministry of Commerce's regulations.
The Ministry urged consumers to report violations via the Commercial Violation App, by dialing 1900, or by visiting the Ministry's website.
