The Ministry of Commerce and Investment has launched today a new e-service for business owners, so they can authorize a third party to manage their Commercial Registrations through issuing online Power of Attorney.
From now on, the business owners can make online authorization to a third party and choose the requested service, such as renewal or writing off the Commercial Registration, as well as allocating trade names.
Meanwhile, MCI pointed out that this additional authorization is an integral part of the online power of attorney service launched last month. During the first phase, the online power of attorney included issuing, modifying or printing the Commercial Registration, besides availing of the Chamber of Commerce services such as issuing and renewal of CR. The business owner can now authorize a third party of one or all services, according to his own wish.
The Ministry launched this service in cooperation with its strategic partner, Thiqa Business Services Company, to facilitate the services of the beneficiaries, and as part of its initiatives to support and ease the procedures and transactions for business owners. All that for the realization of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Business owners can now issue online power of attorney through visiting MCI website:
efile.mci.gov.sa, then they can select the authorization icon, then they can fill out all the requested information and specify kind of authorization and validity, then the authorized person can accept or reject the application by logging on the website
efile.mci.gov.sa, and avail of the provided e-services.
