The inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce Albaha Region Branch carried out over 1,300 price readings for commodities and products through the electronic monitoring system. The inspectors made 633 visits targeting businesses and outlets across the region's cities and governorates.
The visits ensured that businesses were abiding by the Ministry's laws. The inspectors double-checked the price levels and availability of essential products and their substitutes as well as the protection of consumer's rights.
The Ministry urged the consumers to report commercial violations by calling the toll-free number (1900) or via the “A Commercial Report” App.
