The Ministry of Commerce has called on commercial establishments that have completed one year since their registration in the commercial registry to take the initiative and confirm their commercial registration data electronically within a maximum period of 90 days, in order to avoid suspension of the commercial registration.
This measure is based on the Commercial Registry Law and its Executive Regulations, which require merchants to submit an annual confirmation of the information recorded in the commercial registry. The due date for the annual confirmation is one year from the date of registration in the commercial registry. If the confirmation is not submitted within ninety (90) days from its due date, the registrar shall suspend the merchant’s registration in the commercial registry and the services linked to it.
