The Supreme Committee of Dubai Expo 2020 Holds a Workshop to discuss creative ideas for the Kingdom's Participation

The Supreme Committee for the Kingdom's Participation in Dubai Expo 2020 has held a workshop to discuss the creative ideas of Saudi Arabia's participation in Dubai Expo, organized by the United Arab Emirates. The workshop, held at the Ministry's headquarters today, witnessed an active and creative participation by the representatives of 40 governmental and private entities.

The workshop aims to identify the vision and goals of the Expo 2020 participants, whether from the public or private sectors, also to endeavor to improve and develop such goals, besides enabling the Saudi private sector to participate actively in the implementation of Expo Dubai 2020 projects. In addition, the attendants introduced and discussed various creative ideas that may contribute to enrich the content of the Kingdom's pavilion in Dubai Expo 2020.

Meanwhile, the participants reviewed the latest developments, preparations and the action taken relevant to the said Expo. They discussed a number of recommendations related to the mechanisms, steps and ways to stimulate the private sector’s opportunities and initiatives.

It is worth mentioning that the Supreme Committee for the participation of Saudi Arabia in Expo Dubai 2020 was established and approved by the Cabinet’s decree, and to be headed by His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, and members from various governmental bodies.
