H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, accompanied by MCI deaf staff, has launched today, 06.02.2017 AD, at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh, the Sign Language Channel for MCI visual content in YouTube.
This initiative is presented for people with hearing disabilities "deaf-mute", by providing them visual content in sign language, taking into consideration the consumer awareness, as well as giving general guidance related to business services, setting-up companies, Commercial Registrations and all other electronic services provided by the Ministry for trade and investment sector.
During this ceremony, H.E. the Minister honored a group of volunteers, who had worked on transferring the content into sign language
It is worth mentioning that MCI YouTube channel contains 36.400 viewers, and its operation lists include multi-channels, such as “Know Your Right”, “e-services”, “Aware Consumer”, “Set-Up Your Co.” “
Saudi MCI”. Notably, this channel is targeting the deaf-mute people by providing them with special operational list.
