The Ministry of Commerce and Saudi Post sign a Joint cooperation agreement for transporting and distributing postal services. The agreement aims to organize the mechanisms and works for receiving and delivering MC postal shipments, provided that Saudi Post shall transport and distribute the shipments via Express Mail Service (EMS) inside and outside the Kingdom.

From MC part, the agreement was signed by Undersecretary for Joint Services, Mr. Badr Al-Sunaidi, and from Saudi Post part, Vice President for Governmental and Commercial Sales, Engr. Rayan Al-Sharif.

The agreement signed between the two parties contributes to facilitate the procedures and ease the services for the business sector, as the agreement provisions stipulate that all the official MC shipments should be covered, including publications, documents and parcels, to be delivered to all major cities and villages in the Kingdom that are covered by the postal service and by the national address service, in addition to the postal shipments sent outside the Kingdom.

This agreement contributes as well to the optimal utilization of resources, and to achieve spending efficiency by reducing the cost of delivery, as well as making cheaper and faster consignment delivery.
