The Ministry of Commerce Qassim Region Branch carried out more than 6,400 price monitoring tasks targeting essential commodities across outlets last September.
The inspection teams conducted over 3,500 visits to warehouses, markets, and outlets in the region's cities, governorates and villages. The inspectors ensured that businesses are in compliance with the Ministry's laws and that sufficient products, suppliers and substitute commodities are available.
The Ministry urged the consumers to report commercial violations by calling the toll-free number (1900) or through the “A Commercial Report” App.
