The Ministry of Commerce Asir Branch visited outlets and businesses and carried out 4,900 price monitoring tasks for products last September.
The inspectors conducted over 3,500 visits to warehouses, markets, and outlets throughout the region's cities, governorates, and villages. The inspectors also ensured that businesses are in compliance with the Ministry's laws, that adequate quantities of products are supplied by a variety of vendors, and that substitute products are available.
The Ministry urged the consumers to report commercial violations by calling the toll-free number (1900) or through the “A Commercial Report” App.
