The inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce Eastern Province branch carried out 19,000 price monitoring assignments covering supply and essential commodities in September, with 14 thousand inspection visits performed. The visits targeted warehouses, markets, and outlets in the region's cities, governorates and villages.
These inspections are intended to monitor markets, price levels, product abundance, ensuring the availability of different suppliers and substitute products. The visits make sure that businesses comply with the Ministry's laws.
