The Ministry of Commerce and Investment issued 1293 advisory professions' licenses in different specialties during the first ten months starting from Muharram of the year 1437 till the end of Shawwal of the same year.
The number of the most applied for advisory professions was more than 30 professions. The engineering offices licenses (in cooperation with the Saudi Council of Engineers), was the highest by 425 licenses, followed by accredited real estate evaluators (in collaboration with the Saudi Organization for accredited evaluators) by 289 licenses. In third, 200 licenses was for management consulting, while the total of 77 licenses was for Certified Public Accountants (in cooperation with the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants). The rest of the licenses were for financial (for non-stock), economic, educational, translation, and others. The total number of licenses issued by the ministry until the end of last Shawwal, was more than 10.000 license.
It is worth mentioning that the Advisory professions' management division has completed its third year in the issuance of licenses electronically, and anyone who is interested in obtaining a profession license can apply through the Ministry's website and get the reply via text messages on their mobile phone. If the terms are complete, the applicant will receive a text message to attend the ministry personally to present the necessary documents for verification and obtain the license instantly.
