The inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce’s Northern Frontier Branch performed 1112 visits last month to warehouses, markets, and outlets across cities, governorates and villages to monitor prices of commodities and guarantee that stores and outlets abide by the laws enacted by the Ministry.
Following inspections, the Ministry fined 89 infringing business outlets as per the penalties prescribed for violating the Ministry of Commerce's regulations.
The Ministry called upon consumers to report violations via the Commercial Violation App, by dialing 1900, or by visiting the Ministry's website.
