The Saudi Commercial Attaché in Rome Stimulates 145 Italian companies to Invest in the Kingdom

The Saudi Commercial Attaché in Rome held a trade exhibition, aiming at identifying and introducing the investment opportunities in the Kingdom to 145 leading Italian companies. These opportunities including energy, renewable energy, mining, transport, construction and food sector, giving incentives to attract foreign investments to the kingdom. 

This exhibition occurs on the sidelines of the reception hosted by the Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Italy and Malta, on the occasion of the Kingdom 87th National Day.

The Following authorities were participating at the said exhibition: The General Authority for Investment, the Economic Cities Authority, the Saudi Export Development Authority, the Saudi Organization for Industrial Cities and Technology Regions “Muden”. The representatives of the aforementioned authorities introduced the  investment environment in the Kingdom to the Italian companies, as well as the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its effects on the economy. The investment opportunities and incentives to be offered to the companies wishing to invest in the Kingdom were discussed and reviewed as well.

In order to motivate major Italian companies to choose the Kingdom as the first destination for foreign investments in the Middle East, the Saudi Commercial Attaché invited and asked the Italian companies to present their successful stories and history in the Kingdom by presenting models of their projects or products in the Kingdom. Most of which Proger Co. for Transportation, Barilla Co. for Foodstuffs and Angelantoni Co. for Renewable Energy and others.

Saudi starting up companies in the field of technology and foodstuffs were invited as well to give them a chance for opening new markets for their products in Italy.
