H.E. Dr. Al-Qasabi Visits Startup Companies and Business Incubators, specialized in Technology, Data, Consultation and Entertainment Facilities in Jeddah

H. E. Met Male & Female Entrepreneurs and Listened to their Suggestions

His Excellency Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Qasabi, Minister of Commerce and Investment, has visited today a group of Small and Medium Enterprises and Start-up Companies that practice trade activities in joint working areas. This is part of the Ministry's efforts and the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises to empower and enhance various enterprises, besides encouraging entrepreneurship.
 
H.E. Dr. Al Qasabi stressed that the efforts of he/she entrepreneurs and their keenness to innovate and present their business projects in distinctive ways would benefit them and their nation. 

H.E. comments: "I felt the passion and love of work among the young men and women, whom I had met, as well as their eagerness to excel to a new horizon, and this is the fuel of success. I was very impressed with the innovative ideas that reflect their serious desire and ambition to achieve their dreams. I pray to Almighty Allah to bless them all and help them to serve their country in all fields. May Allah grants them whatever they like. "

H.E. Dr. Al Qasabi has visited today Fiber Co. and the area specialized for joint work that include more than 125 startups and business incubators and accelerators in vital sectors such as: Virtual Reality, Data Science, Digital Technology, E-Services, Marketing, Entertainment, Consultation, Health and Beauty. These activities include more than 730 active members.

H.E. Dr. Al-Qasabi listened to entrepreneurs in start-up companies, specialized in Consumer Data Analysis, relevant to e-commerce, as well as to leading Saudi companies in the field of empowering the vital sectors of women, besides marketing, consultation and others.

Shared workspaces are considered a new concept of culture in the Arab world, enabling entrepreneurs to do business in a common unconventional place, which is more opened to incubating entrepreneur environment.

It is noteworthy that the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority is responsible for the licensing of shared workspaces. Till now, more than 95 incubators have been licensed to facilitate the work of he/she entrepreneurs, and to motivate them to start their business, besides providing a variety of services and resources.
