MCI is the First Government Agency to apply this Service
MCI has launched the Direct Payment Service OLP (SADAD), which allows the beneficiaries to pay for services directly and quickly electronically. This service has been applied currently in some of the Ministry`s e-services, such as getting certificates of origin electronically. It is scheduled to include a number of other services gradually.
Thus, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is considered the first government agency to apply this service within its electronic services in the Kingdom, after it had been launched recently in an experimental way by the Saudi Monetary Agency and (SADAD) program.
This service enables all the beneficiaries to complete the payment procedures through the website, as part of the service request procedures, without having to leave the website for payment, where it is done on line through a direct link between the service and the payment service at the client's bank, in a way similar to some world electronic payment system, such as (Pay pal).
It is worth mentioning that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry had announced earlier launching a number of electronic services, including issuance, renewal and modification of Commercial Registration electronically, as well as issuing contracts for founding companies electronically, by linking with the Ministry of Justice, also a bouquet of electronic control services using smart devices, in addition to the issuance of industrial licenses electronically, more than that the issuance and renewal of the commercial agencies registration electronically, and other achievements that have been implemented with the highest international quality standards.
This comes within the interest and the pursuit of the Ministry for the development of its services and to create solutions that would accelerate the application of e-government. This is to contribute in the strengthening of the nation's economy and in serving the customers in a better way.
MCI emphasizes its ongoing pursuit to develop the electronic services, by using the latest technology that meets the needs of the commercial and industrial sector in the Kingdom. This may have great effect on the strength and durability of the National Economy.
