MCI has noticed that photos or videos have spread recently about corrupted or unfit products for the human consumption. To verify each report or complaint, MCI calls on all the consumers to inform it directly of any violation on the phone No. 1900, to monitor and follow up the offense before hiding it, and to deal with it quickly to protect the citizens. MCI has been dealing with many of these important and useful reports, where many violations have been detected and seized.
But it has been noticed recently the spread of untrue video clips aimed at the abuse to a competing product and to guide the consumer to another product, as well as many of these photos or clips are outdated or not properly understood, which gives a wrong impression to the consumer. MCI is interested in the protection of the consumer, and it will not tolerate in imposing the legal penalties against any counterfeit or fake product, including the defamation of the producer or the one marketing it.
MCI will not tolerate also with the malicious campaigns or the illegal marketing practices that are harmful to the fair competition and the consumer`s interests. MCI calls on all the consumers to report their complaints and observations to the Report Center in the Ministry on the phone No. 1900, or through the Ministry's website link.
