H.E. Minister of Commerce and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al Kasabi has met in his office today, Mr. Flip Reseller, Board Member of the World Economic Forum "Davos".
At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Al Kasabi provides an overview of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, and the National Transformation Program 2020. They also discuss the establishment of a strategic partnership between the Ministry and the said Forum, as well as promoting the cooperation between the two sides. They review and discuss the Kingdom’s participations in the WEF sessions and the investment opportunities, thus contributing to achieve the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
Dr. Al Kasabi discussed with his guest as well holding subsidiary workshops for Davos Forum in the Kingdom to support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and its investment opportunities, for that purpose working groups to be formed to come out of perception or concept for organizing a Forum in the Kingdom in collaboration with the World Economic Forum “Davos”.
It is worth mentioning that the World Economic Forum is being held annually, over five days in Davos, Swiss, to discuss global, economic and development issues. Heads of states, governments, ministers, ambassadors and businessmen are participating in this global event.
