The Supervisory Committee for the Elections of Members of the Board of Directors of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce for the 19th session (1446 - 1450 AH) announced the issuance of the election results, after the end of the process of casting votes this Thursday evening for every voter who tried to vote in the previous period and was not able to do so through the electronic voting system.
The election results after the recount resulted in the victory of 9 candidates, namely: Ibrahim bin Abdul Rahman Mohammed bin Al Sheikh, Turki bin Khalid Mohammed Al Ajlan, Salman bin Musad Saud Al Otaibi, Salem bin Ali Saeed Al Ajmi, Ajlan bin Saad Mohammed Al Ajlan, Mohammed bin Abdullah Abdul Aziz Al Marshed, Abdul Salam bin Abdul Rahman Nasser Al Majed, Abdullah bin Ibrahim Abdullah Al Kharif, Ngheimesh bin Fahad Abdul Hadi Al Ajmi.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Commerce issued a statement last May 13th, based on what the Ministry monitored and the received objections regarding the elections of the Chamber of Commerce in Riyadh (1445 - 1449 AH), which were held during the period from (19-26 Shawwal 1445 AH) corresponding to (April 28 - May 5, 2024) , announcing the cancellation of votes used in an irregular manner from the election results, and the Election Commission’s empowerment of voters, who tried to vote but had no access to the electronic voting system, to cast their votes during the regular period of voting. The new recounted election results would be announced soon after, while taking all legal measures against violators.
