The inspectors of the Ministry of Commerce’s Qassim Branch carried out 6,205 visits last month to warehouses, markets, and outlets across cities, governorates and villages to monitor prices of commodities and ensure that businesses comply with the Ministry’s laws.
As a consequence of the visits, the Ministry issued 200 urgent violations against infringing business outlets, in accordance with the penalties for violating the Ministry of Commerce's regulations.
The Ministry called upon consumers to report violations via the Commercial Violation App, by dialing 1900, or by visiting the Ministry's website.
