Fuel is Available in the Local Market also the Petrol Stations are Committed to the New Approved Prices, as Confirmed by MCI

MCI has been following up the commitment of the petrol stations to the new prices of fuel. In that regards, MCI has confirmed that the results of the inspection rounds, in various regions of the Kingdom, showed the availability of fuel and the commitment to the new approved prices, indicating at the same time that MCI would permanently respond to the consumers  reports, to ensure the absence of fraud or manipulation.

It is worth mentioning that MCI had carried out more than 2000 inspection rounds on the petrol stations last week, in various regions of the Kingdom. More than 350 violations had been detected, related to refrain from selling, while the percentage of such violations amounted to 16% of the total visits.

More than 1500 reports or complaints, regarding the petrol stations refrain from selling fuel to the consumers had been received by MCI through the Notification Center (1900) or through the application of a Commercial Notification, since Monday evening till Thursday morning. Meanwhile, Riyadh Region recorded the highest percentage of violations, followed by the Southern Region, and then Qassim Region.

MCI would like all petrol stations owners to cooperate and to be committed to the new approved prices of the fuel, issued recently by the Council of Ministers, so as to avoid questioning and investigation
