Maher Al-Saeed

 

Positions, Experiences and Memberships:

Maher is the Deputy Minister for Policies and Laws. Previously, he served as an Assistant Deputy Minister for Laws and Regulations, and as a general manager for commercial laws and policies. 

​He led numerous law projects, including Bankruptcy Law, Franchise Law, Commercial Pledge Law, Movable Property Security Law, and Professional Companies Law. Prior to joining the Ministry, he worked as a legal consultant at several international lawfirms in Riyadh and Bahrain, providing services to clients in finance and corporate matters. 

Currently, he is a board member of the General Authority for Competition and the Saudi Bar Association.

Academic Qualifications:
  • LLM in International Commercial and Business Law from East Anglia University, Norwich, United Kingdom. ​
  • Bachelor of Laws from King Saud University.
