Positions, Experiences and Memberships:
Maher is the Deputy Minister for Policies and Laws. Previously, he served as an Assistant Deputy Minister for Laws and Regulations, and as a general manager for commercial laws and policies.
He led numerous law projects, including Bankruptcy Law, Franchise Law, Commercial Pledge Law, Movable Property Security Law, and Professional Companies Law. Prior to joining the Ministry, he worked as a legal consultant at several international lawfirms in Riyadh and Bahrain, providing services to clients in finance and corporate matters.
Currently, he is a board member of the General Authority for Competition and the Saudi Bar Association.
Academic Qualifications:
- LLM in International Commercial and Business Law from East Anglia University, Norwich, United Kingdom.
- Bachelor of Laws from King Saud University.
