Based on the principle of participation and transparency, the Ministry of Commerce calls on those interested and the public to express their opinions and suggestions regarding the Draft Executive Regulations for the Anti-Commercial Concealment Law, through the following e-mail (ACL@mc.gov.sa), deadline 08.06.1442 AH corresponding to 21.01.2021 AD.
The Ministry has explained that the draft regulation aims to support small and medium enterprises, and to protect the regular investor and the consumer from harmful practices resulting from the phenomenon of commercial concealment, besides eliminating the sources of commercial concealment and the supply chains associated with it.
The draft regulations included an explanation of the illegal methods used in the commercial concealment practices, as well as specifying the criteria for selecting the criminal investigation personnel, also stating their authorizations, tasks and obligations.
Among the most prominent features of the draft regulation, is the definition about the procedures of reporting the cover-up crimes and violations, as well as determining the controls for giving the rewards and how to be divided among the informers.
