The Ministry of Commerce issued the Business Sector Bulletin for the third quarter of 2025, which included an overview of the performance and developments of the business sector in the Kingdom.
The bulletin addressed the total number of commercial registrations issued during the third quarter, amounting to more than 128,000 commercial registrations, while the total number of registrations reached more than 1.7 million in all regions of the Kingdom.
The bulletin included key indicators of business sector growth, as the number of establishments grew by 21% during the past five years, reaching more than 1.2 million establishments. The number of limited liability companies exceeded 500,000 commercial registrations with a growth of 158%, and the number of joint-stock company registrations grew by 49%, reaching 4,488 commercial registrations by the end of the third quarter compared to 2020.
The bulletin also highlighted the development in promising sectors and pointed out the growth of commercial registrations in activities such as electronic game development and production, augmented reality technologies, logistics services, e-commerce, and other promising activities within the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
