The official spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Hussein, clarified that the awareness of the online shopper is an important factor in making the right purchasing decisions.
He stated in a video clip published through the official account on the (X) platform—three important matters that a shopper should pay attention to when finding products and wishing to purchase them from online stores and websites, warning against dealing with unknown accounts, as many accounts on websites and electronic platforms are run by people who are not known.
Al-Hussein stressed the necessity of shopping from verified stores, and that the reliability of a store can be checked through the Saudi Business Center platform, and its full information viewed quickly.
In the event of being exposed to a fraud incident by an unknown account, a complaint should be submitted to the security authorities, including the bank account number and the transfer receipt.
