The deputy minister of Commerce and Investment for Foreign Trade Mr. Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Hagbani met the German parliament and chairman on the Committee of Economic Affairs and Energy Dr. Peter Ramsauer and the German Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mr. Dieter Walter Haller and a group of representatives of German companies.
The two parties reviewed the trade ties and the investment opportunities in the Kingdom along with the means to developing them, emphasizing on enhancing the cooperation in the fields of science and technology, and the role of the German partnership in supporting and motivating the developmental aspects.
During the meeting, there were discussions with representatives of German companies wishing to invest in the Kingdom about the investment opportunities in the Saudi Vision 2030.
It is worth mentioning that the trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Germany in the year 2015 was more than 47 billion Riyals.
