The Ministry of Commerce has been intensifying its inspection tours on markets and commercial establishments in all regions of the Kingdom to ensure the absence of any violations, also to follow up and control the prices of basic and consuming goods and products.
The Ministry of Commerce is following-up the abundance of products, suppliers and goods alternatives, so that to create free competition for the benefit of the consumers. In addition, MC is following up and controlling any cases of manipulation or excessive prices, besides ensuring that the bills should include all the basic data, and that there is no difference between the price on the shelf and that with the cashier.
MC inspection tours include all the commercial establishments in all regions of the Kingdom, aiming at monitoring and controlling any violation, as well as taking the legal measures and imposing the proper penalties on the violators immediately.
MC calls on all consumers to lodge their complaints and reports on the violating establishments through MC Consumer Call Center (1900), or through the application of a Commercial Violation Report, or via the Ministry's official website.
