Assignment of Trade Name for Company Branch X Description Merchant Brand Names Business sector An electronic service provided by the Ministry of Commerce through the Saudi Business Center platform that allows beneficiaries to transfer a trade name registered in the commercial register to a company branch, acting independently of the store, without the need to visit service centers. Service level agreement Steps Conditions Required Documents Access the platform: Via the National Unified Access through the Saudi Business Center platform. Select the service: From "Doing Business" > "Ministry of Commerce" > "Assigning a Trade Name to a Company Branch". Start the service: View the commercial register data, agree to the terms, and click "Apply for the service". Enter the beneficiary's data: Select the beneficiary type of the trade name, then enter their data. Enter the alternative trade name: Select the name type (personal, existing, reserved) and enter its data. Review and submit the application: Review the application summary, approve the declaration, and submit the application. Process: After entering the verification code, the application is sent to the Ministry of Commerce and appears in the "My Requests" list. Payment (if applicable): If fees apply, the invoice is issued and paid through the payment system. Complete the application: After payment or Ministry approval (if the service is free), the status will be updated to "Completed". The applicant or beneficiary must be at least 18 years old. The applicant or beneficiary must not be a government employee. The name must not be a personal name. The branch name must not be identical to the main company name.
