General Administration of Laboratories and Quality Control

 

The General Administration of Laboratories and Quality Control is responsible for licensing and monitoring private laboratories, using them, recalling defective goods, clearing chemicals, preparing and implementing proactive control plans, participating in technical committees, and supervising the energy efficiency program.

Key Functions:

1. Issuing and utilizing licenses for private laboratories. 
2. Oversight of the overall energy efficiency program and product control. 
3. Recall of faulty vehicles and products 
4. Proactive goods and product control 
5. Clearance of chemicals for commercial purposes.
